Open Role: Operations lead

At Kinter Insurance Services, we're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our commercial insurance lines in California. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the California insurance market, particularly in Workers' Compensation and General Liability.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of our commercial insurance department, ensuring efficiency and compliance with California regulations
• Oversee Workers' Compensation and General Liability insurance lines, including policy management and claims processing
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational processes and increase productivity
• Lead, motivate, and support a team of insurance professionals, including performance reviews and career development plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance proprietary tools and systems
• Ensure compliance with California's insurance regulations and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies
• Analyze and report on key performance metrics to upper management

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance operations, specifically in California
• In-depth knowledge of Workers' Compensation and General Liability insurance in California
• Strong understanding of California's insurance regulations and compliance requirements
• Proven experience in claims management and processing
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• California Property & Casualty Insurance license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or related field
• Industry designations such as ARM, CIC, or CPCU
• Experience with insurance-specific software and management systems
• Knowledge of risk management principles and practices
